It is a magazine fed, straight pull, bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5x55mm Swiss Gewehrpatrone 1911 (GP11). The Karabiner Model 1911 (K11) is the shorter, lighter, carbine model of the Swiss 1911 rifle. Bluing on the magazine base is lightly thinning and has light edge wear on the left side. Front barrel band also has dark bluing, with very light finish wear on the left side at the hinge, very light finish wear on the right side at the mounting screw, and light edge wear on the bayonet lug. The rear barrel band has dark bluing with very light finish wear on the underside at the mounting screw. Receiver bluing is fairly dark with light edge wear at the loading slot, a few small discolored spots that may have been caused by grease, and there are a few small marks in the metal. On the underside of the stock, there are two long pressure marks at the toe.

On the left side of the stock are some scattered pressure marks at the butt and a pressure mark at the grip. On the left side of the stock there are some vertical marks in the wood below the receiver, a pressure mark at the grip, and several pressure marks to the right of the grip.
